We are seeking a results-driven Agile Project Manager with a strong command of Agile Scrum methodologies and a proven ability to implement Agile frameworks in traditionally non-Agile environments. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader and change agent capable of establishing effective processes, managing complex projects, and ensuring delivery excellence under tight timelines.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in an Agile environment.
  • Proven success implementing Agile in organizations new to the methodology.
  • Deep knowledge of Scrum principles and Agile frameworks.
  • Advanced experience using Jira for Agile project delivery.
  • Exceptional facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous or evolving environments and deliver results under pressure.
  • Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the establishment and rollout of Agile Scrum frameworks in non-Agile environments, ensuring effective adoption and process alignment.
  • Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Leverage strong Jira expertise to configure workflows, manage backlogs, and track project performance and delivery.
  • Ensure successful project/product delivery by managing timelines, scope, and quality, particularly in challenging and fast-paced client environments.
  • Serve as a change leader, driving Agile adoption and cultural transformation across project teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Collaborate closely with Rich and other team members to coach and train internal and client teams on Agile principles and best practices.
  • Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients and internal teams, applying strong consulting skills to foster alignment and trust.

It's a long term contract role with work location: Halifax / Montreal / Calgary
